Last week I was in DC and Baltimore, visiting clients. I flew Virgin America for the first time. True to their promises, it was very nice, with comfortable seats, mood lighting, and a great personal entertainment center with satellite TV and movies. On the downside, the food was not quite what I had expected. You can order it from your seat on a little intranet web site, pay for it with a credit card, then have them deliver it to your seat, but the options are far more limited than I expected. I had pictured a variet of tasty hot meals, but your choices are basically a wrap, a salad, and lots of junk food. Overall, though, for the price, I’d definitely fly them before flying United or US Airways.

This Friday we played tennis against the ball machine at Arroyo Seco Racquet Club then went for Hawaiian food at the always-awesome Aloha Food Factory. I really cannot say enough good things about that place. The food is amazing - better than any other Hawaiian food in LA and probably better than any Hawaiian food in Hawaii. Last night was the MPP fundraiser at Ray Flores Board Gallery. Today….reading the LA Times and New York Times. Making tuna salad. Vacuuming. Normal Sunday.
